sorry, guys! january was a rough month for me - i lost a friend, a beloved pet, was sick, went to a conference, had to deal with lots of snow and ice, and was busy with wedding planning. so, i didn't feel much like blogging.
but now, it's a new month! horray. we've gotten lots accomplished on the planning front - maybe i'll do a separate check-in with that soon :)
otherwise, not much new here. we've been watching lots of premier league games, and have been trying to keep indoors as much as possible. i don't know about anyone else, but i am a bit tired of all of this snow and ice! definitely ready to head back to the west coast.
i am looking forward to the superbowl today, but since i don't have any ties to either of the teams, i am mainly just looking forward to eating nachos and drinking beer. oh, and eating the delicious chocolate tart that j and i made last night. yes, it was amazing. and, there was very little sugar in it! so so good.
okay, this is now officially the most boring post ever. sorry. but, i just wanted to check in, let you know i am still alive and haven't been buried in snow, and that i will hopefully be blogging with somewhat more frequency going forward.
