for neglecting my poor little blog, that is. my computer died while i was installing some sort of microsoft service pack update thingy-majigger, and i had to take it in to the shop to get it fixed. because i am a terrible person and never back up my files.
well, never again will i not back up my files! yes, i realize that is what i said last time, when my old computer died. i always start out on these crusades with high hopes. sort of like my lenten resolution to stop pulling out my eyebrows...
anyway, sorry to be boring and talk about the weather, but i swear, boston has had the craziest weather recently. last week, we definitely had a real monsoon - heavy, heavy rains for three straight days (it did not stop. once.), which caused crazy flooding in basements, ridiculous leaks and water damage in our apartment (yes. mold. i am not pleased), and wet galens on the commute to work.
then, we had some weird sunny weather, and yesterday was absolutely gorgeous, and up in the 70s. i loved it. today was sunny, but cooler. and, tomorrow we are supposed to get more snow.
can it be summer already?
