.cupcake.

.so i got really excited today thinking about how i'm going to be in seattle in 4 days.

i can't wait. and then i got even more excited thinking about one of the highlights of my trip to seattle (after seeing family and friends, of course) - visiting trophy cupcakes in wallingford center. i love cupcakes, i admit. but, i am fairly picky about what constitutes a good cupcake. and let me tell you, trophy has excellent cupcakes. i wish i had some pictures to share, but generally the cupcakes don't last long enough for me to snap a shot. hopefully i'll be able to take some when i'm home this time, but their website has some pictures of the amazing cupcakes that they offer.

so, anyway, i was thinking about how much i'm looking forward to a nice green tea cupcake (they sound weird, and look a little bit suspect with the green tint, but they are amazing!), and then realized that they may be doing some christmas flavors. i went to the website and lo and behold, tons of christmas flavors! i think i'm most excited for chocolate candy cane and bourbon eggnog. if you want a specific flavor, make sure you check their schedule so you know which day to go.

actually, i'm just looking more closely at the schedule, and i don't see green tea on there - what's the deal?! i'll have to inquire when i'm there, and potentially write a nasty customer letter regarding the disappearance of the green tea cupcake.

but really, the cupcakes at trophy are amazing. there is such a variety of flavors, and they use really quality ingredients, which makes the cupcakes very, very good. i know they also take special orders, and can customize the cupcakes for your special occasions, so if anyone has birthdays or bridal showers they would like the cupcakes at (or even weddings), they do that as well.

well, that's my plug for the day. mary, we're going when i'm home. preferably on a thursday, when they have chocolate candy-cane and gingerbread.
