.can you believe this?.
i cannot believe how terrible the city of seattle is in the snow. what are they thinking? what is wrong with them? "packed snow" for the roads?? really?? that just creates really dangerous, slippery, bumpy ruts.
i was sliding all over the place today. mercer is an absolute mess. it was absurd. absolutely absurd. NONE of the roads are cleared. NONE.
and why? because salt is bad for the environment? i don't care. my life is more important to me than a bit of salt on the road. or at least a snowplowed road, for heavens sake. you don't even have to salt it. just clear it. i spent three hours sitting in traffic trying to take my sister to teatro zinzanni. it was completely ridiculous. and obviously i am not pleased about it.
get it together, seattle. seriously. learn from the snow-pros.
.cheers.

It's infuriating, I agree! Not using salt, jeez! And turns out sand is worse for the environment so sounds like Seattle is just making stuff up. Stupid! But hey, no one needs to get anywhere important this time of year right?
...How was Teatro zinzanni? I've heard it's fantabulous.
clarification - i was simply taking c there... i myself did not attend. aren't i an amazing sister?!
but she said it was sweet.
the sand is going to be awesome once everything starts melting...and clogging up all the drains....and flooding...
What a freaking disaster!
but MERRY CHRISTMAS!!!!! Miss & love you!
