.spring has sprung!.




well, not exactly. it's still a bit cold out. but, it seems to be slowly peeking around the corner - it has been really sunny and in the 50s for several days now. downright tropical!

so, in light of spring coming along, i decided to plant some seeds this past week. the light situation is not ideal in our apartment (we really only get morning light), but i keep trying in the hopes that someday, one of my plants will actually grow something.

we'll see.

anyway, this year, in addition to the little match-stick garden seeds that i planted last year, i picked up a pack of pea seeds (how's that for alliteration?) at the store. i like peas. why not plant some?

oh, and some birthday flowers from a co-worker. lovely.

and i did. and guess what. they're totally huge. i swear, every morning when i wake up, they've grown more. they even grew a bit during the day on saturday while we were out shopping! it's amazing. j is getting really sick of me getting so excited about it. oh well, i don't care. i love plants.
