.it has been thundering and lightning all day.

.glancing out of the windows every once in a while at work, the gray just never stopped, and the clouds kept sloughing rain onto the sopping pavement. i thought this was summer? at least it was warm enough to forgo the jacket today.

anyway, i hopped into the shower about half an hour ago. it was still lightning like crazy out, and for a split second, i though hmm, is it weird taking a shower in a thunder and lightning storm? then i decided that it was way too cool to miss. there's a window in our shower, about crotch level and up. the bottom part is frosted so you can't see through it, and although the top part is clear glass, it generally fogs up pretty good. after about 3o seconds of seeing the lightning go nuts outside, i decided to turn the light off and shower in the dark. the light show outside was spectacular! best shower ever. hands down. and don't worry, i am 99.9% sure no one could see in - that small percentage being the off-chance that the google earth satellite was circling above and captured it on film. i'll have to search google earth tomorrow and check.



.anyway, so that was fun.
