.i have been so blessed with the amount of traveling that i have been able to do in my life.


unfortunately, i am a travel whore, and all i can think about right now is traveling to amazing, exotic places with my camera in tow.

and reading this blog does not help things. i am jealous of people who get to travel often for their work. and by travel, i don't mean attend conferences. conferences are fun, but it's not travel - you just sit in a massive room all day, surrounded by classicists and historians.

anyway, she is talking about how she is going to visit a country starting with every letter of the alphabet by the time she is 30. i thought that sounded awesome. unfortunately, i do not travel nearly as much as she does. but, anyway, perhaps i can do it by the time i'm 50 - who knows? although 'x' will never happen, unless some new countries come along soon.
