no particular reason, i don't think, and i have actually been sleeping really well recently. probably just drained from work, and i think i need to be working out a bit more. ah, geez.
j and i just finished 'no country for old men' - i think within the first five minutes, we had seen approximately 6 murders. maybe more, i lost count.
it's a dark, heavy, depressing movie, but very well done, and beautifully shot - pun potentially intended, i haven't decided yet. good movie, but have to be in the right frame of mind to watch it (i.e. ready to see lots of people die. and i'm not ruining anything when i tell you this. like i said, first five minutes.)
nothing else much new here. i have become a little obsessed with looking at people's photography sites. i think it may make j nervous that i am consistently looking at wedding photography, but whatever, weddings provide great shots and (generally) willing models.
as i type this, there is a raucous party of some sort going on in an apartment either above, below, or next to ours. since we're on the side with another house facing our window, the noise just echoes, too. it's terrible. i thought i left noisy neighbors behind when i left the dorms?
since i'm feeling a bit blah right now, and since the movie was so, well, dark and gloomy, i thought i'd try to liven things up a bit with some bright colors. i love the purple-y, red-y, pinkiness.
